Got a new all singing all dancing Vaio recently and not normally too bad at figuring out how to do stuff..............but I can't figure out how to copy DVDs, at least with the loaded software. Do I have to go back to using Nero again? What do folks recommend?

Ta :)

depends what you want to do? you in tomorrow? as I'm heading to Guildford tomorrow

Any dvd and handbrake. Handbrake on its own wont copy an encrypted DVD. DVD Fab is good too but I still prefer Any dvd.

I'm trying this combo at the mo. Managed to get encrypted dvd content into an mp4 format to view on the pc, but not yet figured how to use it to rip back to a disc! The anydvd tutorial focuses on its use with clonedvd, can anyone point me in the direction of its use with handbrake please

Need to make a decision whether to buy before the 31st!

Handbrake wont do this, its all about making smaller files for easy storage or portable devices not copying a DVD to another DVD. Either use Slysofts Clone DVD and set the rip to single layer disk or for free get a copy of DVD Shrink and do the same. Course if you go buy duel layer DVD's then all you need is AnyDVD right click it and rip to hard disk then burn it back with whatever burning software you use. Size for size they are the same so no compression is needed.
Lots of dvd players can play MP4 files these days anyway so you might not even have to do a straight copy.

I hope this is for your use and your not giving these copies away tut tut.
