DWA on display

2005 1200gs im getting dwa comming up on display after turning on ign ! looked in book cant find anything what does it mean. help

Usually means the battery in the alarm needs replaced.

thanks for all replys will keep you posted bike under bmw warranty we will see how good it is

Don't know if it will be covered to be honest as its a consumable. It's 2 cell batteries total cost about 4 quid if it isn't.
