Dynamic pro ?

Well my little plug is staying under the seat, last time I played with that, I had deactivated the ABs and got knows what else, bike was all over the show, obviously skillfully handled by myself...not, so was I thinking all was in self destruct mode, until I RTFM and seen that the settings you deactivate or activate stay permanent when using the plug, however when not using the plug, when bike is turned of and on again all settings revert to default, so plug can sling its hook, however it is good fun if you have the skill.

Can anyone say what can be changed in pro mode , is it only throttle and dtc or can you mess about with suspension settings as well.
Ta

You can mess around with all the settings, but just remember they stay that way with the pro plug installed, but bike needs to have first service, before you can use the plug..........:beerjug:

I plugged mine in on day one, on all 5 of mine. :D

Im still confused , is the magic plug for off road use only , or can the plug be used for road settings.

Nope, you can use it for the road as well. It’s handy, as it remembers your preferred settings. Having it fitted doesn’t affect the bikes performance (or reliability :D).

Mine came with the plug fitted. Damn clever these things, I have no idea how it communicates with the bike from inside the little plastic bag under the riders seat. bluetooth, I guess

The plastic bag has the new secret linking software moulded into the plastic, and patented by BMW....................:jes:jes:jes:jes:jes

So my plug is fitted and the tft says ‘dynamic pro’, if I remove the plug from the wiring loom and clip it back under the seat, does the bike auto-reset back to original factory settings or does the tft need fiddling with?

It is mostly about the ABS settings, if you have deactivated the ABS etc for offroading, it will reset ABS back to activated when you turn the bike back on, and if I remember correctly will reset ESA back to Auto, but check on that.

There is no secret to the plug. It is just a link to enable the functions within the ecu. You can probably make your own. And no, no waiting to 1st service to use it. A bit like saying you can't use the radio of your new car until 1st service.

It is sent from my phone. So fucking what?
