Ok - just a reminder for the forthcoming weekend's entertainment ...
There have been a couple of fallers, so the list looks like this at the moment:

Mr & Mrs Indaba
GS Biker
MDW
Noel

...so there's space for a couple more if anyone's interested... I'm still happy to entertain anyone of the horizontally opposed inclination...

I'll try to keep it more 'structured' this time, but as before, if anyone has any particular interest let me know and I'll see what can be covered. Aiming to make a start time of 10:00 .... *yawns*...

Don't forget it's not supposed to be a BMW Technicians Induction Course, but is firmly aimed at those of us who want to pick up the basics of bike maintenance or preparing for a longer trip than just nipping down to the shops... 5 minutes of endless fun, or just an excuse for a cuppa and a yarn

Cheers

Greg

Did you find all your tools! :augie

Great to have met you Greg; Rick & Harry plus Jay of course] @Previous Maintance day!

PS: Someone bring some Tea bags/someone Coffee/Milk..to keep his wife happy :rob

haha .. it took diamonds and sapphires the last time... not fekkin tea-bags...

I'll make sure to bring the diamonds in april..... do they have to sparkle??

BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GARAGE????? :blast

It looks O so tidy.......

ps is that a HEIDENAU I spotted there??

~Eythorrrrrr

The Diamonds and sapphires are in a ring....

That's a TCK80 you can see, but yes, the Heidis are on the bike - I've just got to get used to how they 'roll' into corners now...

And the garage - it's always that tidy donchaknow.. :toungincheek

Hey - there's a fantastic item about Simon in this month's BIKE magazine - if you can't get a copy there let me know and I'll scan it for you...

Cheers

Hi Greggers

I can't make this but would be very interested in any that you might run in the future.

Cheers

I think we're fairly well stocked up on tea and coffee, the garage isn't short of tools... I'll try to get hold of a set of brake pads by Saturday unless someone else has a set to fit..

Don't forget, if there's anything specific just shout ... still interested in tyre changes??

Okayyyy ....

Resounding applause all round, and thanks to Mr and Mrs Indaba (Adrian and Isabelle) Gunz (Paddy) GS Biker (Rick - Mrs Greggers said you were spoiling us with the Ferrero Rocher!) and Noel ( err Noel?) who managed to make it down through the weather to the workshop workshop today.. We all had a good laugh, and not all of it was at Paddy's expense this time either! I hope everyone took something (apart from my tools) home with them ...

If anyone else is interested in future events just drop me a line, the likelihood is that I can do one day a month...

Greg

Greg and everyone else,

Thanks for a great and informative day! To anyone who hasn't done this it is to be recommended!

Adrian & Isabel

Yeah bloody good day (again), nice to meet Adrian & Isabell (Who are doing a uk->2->south-africa westerly route in may) & Noel plus Rick! He's got some stuff on his F8GS..

Greg; their's a silver wrapped left over chow mein in your garage ..near shot-blaster. Please bin it (I really did want to eat that left over meal)

Greg: What your joint-written book called, linkage please ;)

Adrian; Spot2 messenger unit from OceanMedix.com. If you go with them, make sure they mark unit as 'gift'. I got fk'd over with VAT as usual.

Link for f650 (very simliar to F800 I think) tool-kit 1-of-4 videos Enjoy Isabell & Adrian.

Adrian; Whats your webby called/linkage please

Rick; Please note that 'the gaget show' review of ContourHD1080p unit didn't use the best 'class-6' memory (they used the default class-4 2gb freebee memory unit comes with). My youtube video's are all in 720p. 1080p is basically to much my for bandwidth (I have 15gb limit per month) but the difference is stunning. I shall try to do a 1080p/960p video at-some-point.

Noel; I hope you didn't think I was taking the piss out of you with my 'his name is Noel-robertson...its the part of the film 'Fight-club' were a character gets killed & his name is used for the last time. The band of people then chant his name.. I will stop now] Nice motor hmmm audi..

:beerjug: Everyone, & good showing on the treats Rick. I owe you a beer bud!!
