Can any one recommend a decent pair of ear phones:headphone without me ripping off my ears when I take of me Lid?:helmet

I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions for "off the shelf" things but the only things I've found are either helmet speakers which are OK if your helmet is not noisy or the Green Leopard monitors - not cheap but they double up as an custom molded ear plug so they cut out unwanted noise and pump your tunes / gps / pillion straight into your ear. This means you can have the sounds you want to hear at a lower volume and you don't hear the sounds you don't want to hear. For long journeys these can't be beaten IMHO. Beware of cheaper imitations with thin cable as they will fall apart.

Probably not the answer you were looking for but food for thought...

I have an autocom fitted to my bike and although it is very good you cannot in my opinion beat a pair of these.

I also have a pair of fitted plugs but i think that these are just as good at blocking out the external noise.

Because they fit flush into the ear you do not rip off your ears or damage your head in any way.

Excellent headphones as well very good bass response.

I tought that too, until mine packed in on one side after 6 months.

Just look at the customer reviews on the Amazon website and you will see how bad they are.

While they worked they were great, but overall a badly made product.
