Hi ,

Just to explain, i am looking for earphones that have a volume adjust, so pillion can have a lower volume of sound than mine, (she has really sensitve hearing,

Me a deaf sod, so what i am happy with she is not. vis a vis.

currently using a starcom 1 advance system, with everything going through the unit. phone, ipod, intercom, sat nav,

have the full face helmet speakers and voice piece, which will change to other options, if i can find this sort of option.

Thanks for your help.

That could just work, as will be converting the hearing to in ear ones and it will be a 3.5 lead,

Thanks for the link, not sure if they are still available from that site, as show, this product will no longer be stocked.

Just picked up two items from Maplin, £5 each,

they are a link in 3.5 male and female, very neat little unit.

One other option may be to consider exchanging your Starcom Advance unit for the Starcom Digital which (as far as I can recall) allows rider and pillion volumes to be set independently of one another.

Starcom charge £200 to upgrade and will give you £40 back if you return your old unit. Net cost would therefore be £160 - unless you got more selling your old unit on flea bay.

From memory, the Starcom digital unit also allows your partner to listen to their own music and has their own phone connection.

Might be worth checking it out .....

Thanks Peter,

I was going to give them a call later, so will ask.

Thanks,

Yes you are right, they are offering that deal,

the starcom advance does have a volume/balance control for pillion and rider, which is a turn control, the digital option offers a internal setting like a phone control.

As i will need to purchase to new headsets at £30.00 each, plus add on earphones its expensive enough,

so the digital option is a no go at the moment.
