To clarify matters..

Although I have posted a picture of a box of ear plugs, the ad is £8 for 50 pairs not £8 for the box of 250 pairs.

I can vouch for these, I've been using them for the last y(ear) using a pair for about half a dozen 3 hr trips before throwing away and they are excellent.

SNR has nothing whatsoever to to with Signal to Noise Ratio in this context, but actually means Single Number Rating which is one of those International Standards Organisation thingies that are rather tedious to read through...
