Just realised this weekend clashes with the rugby world cup final.

If Ireland are in the final my nerves will be such that I won't be safe on a motorbike.

If it's an all southern hemisphere final I shall come - sorry to mess you around but I'll know the week before at the latest.

I can't see that being an issue tbh.
Assuming we've not made the final we can drown our sorrows watching the Irish Band on the Friday night.

IMHO we must be 3rd favourites at the moment. NZ (don't call them 'the all blacks') have yet to be tested, SA were beaten by Japan and the Aussies were handed a win by Wales. If France can upset NZ (which they've done before) and we can rise to the occasion against Oz it's probably and Ireland v SA final

Are we doing stuff on the Sunday as well? A mate of mine finishes work at lunchtime on the Saturday and he could potentially be persuaded to come over in the afternoon.

Re the rugby: 1st we have to get past Argentina which isn't a given. Then Australia lie in wait. With the best will in the world I just can't see us making the final but if we do (and we won't) I shall still come over for the weekend and make sure I am back in the pub by 1500 hrs..

Meanwhile the English band was rumoured to have demanded it's own hugely expensive dressing room, exclusive chauffeur driven transportation and self designed speciality stage before not turning up at all.
