Mikeyboy, what time can we start arriving Fri?
Why? because I have a brain the size of a walnut so it takes me hours to erect me tent and I don't want to do it in the dark.

Sunday, only need to be home in time for the Rugby, so will help clean up.

Wouldn't bother much before 4 ,as that's the time I will be meeting the cricket club fella,I guess the gate may be locked till he arrives,
Will post up after I have spoken to him this week

==Pie Run News==

We now have a TEC and someone to help me navigate the early part of the route.

The Pie Run has a green light.

Arkwright has declined the TEC job on account of last year he got lost, got ahead of the group, did the whole route in front of us and culminated in a 'Dancing on Oil' performance not far from his house which necessitated the fitting of a new engine crash bar! Can't say I blame him.

Please try to have a reasonably full tank of petrol and empty panniers for your pies.

Hi Mike
Sorry to say it's not looking good for me attending the latest of your well organised and always enjoyed "rallies". Demands of the job look to be getting in the way so at this stage it's best you remove me from the attendees list and put me on the will come at the last minute if at all possible.

I'll update you nearer the time.....

Morning All
Should be able to join you guys from Friday planning to ride over on the KTM (freeride) and join the mudpluggers on Saturday.

Is Ian riding his in flight re-fueling machine to top up those with slightly less juice on board compared to his 10 gallon tank? I'll have 7.5 litres available so may have to cut short on the ride out! but we shall see.

Nope, my bike has undertook a few changes of late, only got 9 litres on board now so approx 130 miles :D;)

Don't worry we do have a plan in place, when we do our reccy on Friday hopefully we can confirm the garage at Tilton is still trading.

Be great to see you mate :beerjug:

Hi Mike
5.5 litres in the tank which should do 65/75 miles depending on the going, then i've got 2 x 1 litres fuel bottles one on the front and the other on the rear mudguard. Don't limit your day based on my fuel range but 90 miles should be doable. Is there scope for a top-up on route you've planned

That will be fine,my bike won't do 90 on a tank so will be planning a fuel stop somewhere,
Will know tommorrow as we are checking some previously unexplored lanes South of Melton

My WR only has a rang of about 80 miles & I'll be topping up at Colsterworth on the way in so she'll already be less than full before we start.
