East Mids - Autumn Weekend - 29, 30, 31 August 2025

Dates are now firm!

Don't need firm numbers, just turn up if you want to. It would be great if you could indicate your interest and if you intend to take part, even if you can't make it at the last minute. It will also give me rough numbers to give to the pub and the café.

Even better if you can stay or come back for the evening to chat through the day's events. We get quite a few attendees who turn up for the ride but don't stay for the social, which I think is missing the point. I live 10 mins away. Still camp both nights.

All welcome. Not just East Mids.
No dogs.

Guys, I m going to miss this one out. Enjoy the weekend

Thanks all for another fantastic weekend - even the weather was good and only really rained whilst we were in the pub!

Looking forward to next year 👍

Well, what a weekend?!!

Weather forecast has been showing rain all weekend, I almost hadn’t bothered to go, then on Friday morning, I’ve made up my mind and went for it.
Taking the long way to get to the Camp/Pub Via Tring, Aylesbury, Buckingham, past Banbury on the East side, then Daventry, and finally up the A46. All to avoid getting a proper soaking from the cloud that was heading North-East. I had all but a couple of light showers each lasting under 5-10 minutes. Arrived to a dry but rather overgrown with weeds camp. I think proprietors could’ve buzzed the weeds down in anticipation of our arrival. Personally thinking, perhaps a change of venue is on the cards for next year, and I am not the only person to voice such an opinion. It has become a bit of a builders dumping ground, from what I remember it being two years ago. With ground merely covered with an inch of soil, bellow which is builders waste/hardcore, nigh on impossible to drive the tent pegs, without deforming or indeed snapping the things in half.

Still, everybody seem to have had a good time, including the injured party. 😜

Checking out the latest bikermate clobber.

Yes I am the last one to leave, but it was my choice, nobody held me back, asking to be the last to leave. I just utterly dislike packing away damp tents/tarp, so whilst I’ve been socialising and having a rather expensive brekkie, the sunshine and wind did its work.

Thank you to all of the organisers, nice to meet new faces, such as @JonnyBravo, @SpeedTriple and to catch up again with the fellow biker mates whom I have met most very recently at Sid’s (@MickDB1) and those whom I’ve met a few years ago now. One of the would you believe it almost 10 years ago. Great event. Glad I’ve come, now a leisurely trundle back down South, via the countryside. Sod M1 I say.

Until the next time guys.

Brilliant weekend with maybe the most fabulous bunch of lads I have ever had the pleasure in meeting this week.
Beer was fab as was the food in the pub.
Thanks to all especially Tufty and Chris an Boz plus Dereck rear gunner for the road ride.
Thanks to the proper offroad gang. For entertainment I would have gladly paid for..
Or should I call them now

The Hole in the Floor Gang " Nearly 4 ft deep" some reckon
Loved every minuite.....
Thank you

Sorry to miss the ride out due to family commitments this year.

Very glad I could get to the pub last night and the social side was very entertaining 😁

Everyone had a good laugh and I fully recommend folks getting to the pub session even if they can’t attend the rides. :thumby:

Well done for sorting the weekend Tufty; Colin; Chris and Derek 👏
