Credit where its due, Stumpy planned the trip and asked me to find a suitable forest type track for a gentle off-road bimble. Ronno started the thread.
Well thanks Stumpy!

Rev Chuck, I hope the FRB detour was worth it
Did not do it. Thought, there has to be some benefits of riding along the M90 at a reasonable speed in the company of one of L & B's finest. :thumb He knows who he is :thumb

Mainly on Sundays as that seems to suit most.

I seem to be spending more time in Livingston recently so if you fancy a mid week day time trip round your way let me know. :thumb

A belated thanks to all who organised the run to Ft William. It was a good day out. Also thanks to Gordon for the grub. Its a pity it was a bit damp and chilly. Will need to get crash bars for next off road trip. Hope your'e back on the road soon Ronno. Sorry if I broke the rules coming home by passing a couple of guys. It was getting cold and I was getting pissed off getting pissed on.
See you all soon.

Thanks to all who organised the run and to everyone who turned up. It was my first day out with you lot and I enjoyed every minute, including the combined side winds rain and sleet.

G.C. Thanks for the hosptaility and I'll be back for more steak & black pudding pie :bow

If I ever work out how to resize my photo's I'll post them.

Just a wee note to say a big thank you to everyone involved with Mondays run. I had a great time and the haggis was top class :thumb cheers GC.

Despite saying i would go no further north, i woke on Tuesday morning and realised i was only really over for the biking so i should make the most of it, therefore by 10.30am i was in Inverness. Wished i hadn't bothered when i got hit by a horizontal blizzard somewhere near Glencoe i think. Stopped in Pitlochry to check out the fish ladder and warm my nipples in the petrol station. Then headed on down to Falkirk (cheers for the directions John).

Finished off with a run cross country yesterday afternoon through Peebles/Biggar etc and across the M74 and over to Troon, all in perfect sunshine :clap

Thanks again for the hospitality folks, it was great to meet you all and hope to meet up again in the not too distant future, thats if you'll let me

Cheers,

t
