So I'm on the motorworks website, looking to drop some money on a new set of rear brake pads, and there are two different kinds of EBC pads.

The cheaper is non HH, the second are HH, HH meaning EBCs maximum stopping power + life, they only cost a few £ more but it says not to only use the HH pads when they are fitted on the front also to prevent brake imbalance.

Is this really an issue or should it be alright to slap them on there anyway?

Cheers,
Ben

Now, well....

I bought mine from Motorworks... HH for the front and just standard ones for the rear.

The HH pads certainly have more initial 'bite', but in all honesty I'm pretty sure that the ABS kicks in well before the brakes have a chance to do their job to the fullest, and both types of pad will be able to lock the wheel without ABS ...

The HH are a couple of quid more per pair, but in hindsight I don't think I'll be so picky next time...
