A more considered view might be that ts better that courageous people go and help contain ebola than let it spread further in Africa and then offer a significant threat to us.

Am I missing something here... there seems to be criticism of the vetting process on landing back in the UK but surely there should have been screening BEFORE any potentially infected people got on any planes. There seems to be no concern over the exposure to people being locked into a sealed cigar tube with infected people.

should be kept in a clearing station for 3 months in country then allowed to fly.failing that direct flight to England.
Any dogs or cats entering UK must have an anti rabies vac and then wait 21 days before entering the UK. So why not something like that or longer wait for something highly deadly as Ebola. Fukin madness.

Seems to me common sense is already prevailing. Don't see the point of going off the deep end for a virus that is so hard to catch that simple basic procedures can avoid infection.
