Eifel Mountains

Hi folks,

I am planning a trip next year to the Eifel mountains area and wanted to know if any one has stayed here. http://www.eifel-camp.de/index_en.php

Just wanted to know what you thought of it if you have stayed there or any decent alternatives looking for a site with pitches, mobile homes, preferably with decent facilities.

I've been through and round the area a few times. The scenery is lovely and there are some nice roads.

Only camped for one night there, and it took some time to find a campsite. Probably worth booking something in advance.

I've not stayed there but I'm sure it's fine. generally speaking, I've found the standards of European camping grounds very high. you can't go wrong really... just go stay and enjoy.
