Just back from Eicma Milan - where I saw this on the Puig stand. It's an electric adjuster for the screen, replaces the manual control on the rhs. They were showing it with one of their own tall screens, which also had an extension spoiler fitted. I'd be interested to know if the motor is strong enough to adjust the screen against the wind load at speed - my screen stalls at motorway speeds, and can't be adjusted without a helping hand taking the wind pressure off the screen first.

I like the idea too. The motor unit looks fine but the switch is a bit ugly and doesn't look like it would fall easily to hand.

One thing I always wondered is why the adjusting mechanism is on the right hand side? I don't own one by the way.

it should be on the left , so that the rider can adjust it on the move.

a very stupid person put it on the right.

It's fine on the right side, set cruise control and adjust with your right hand, easy

No a very sensible person put it on the right.

If you adjust when on the move you are required to take your hand off the handlebars therefore deemed not to be in FULL control of the bike.

A manufacturer cannot be seen to the encouraging irresponsible acts and leaving the door open for compensation claims by idiots

I've read that you are supposed to alter the screen with your left hand. This leaves the right hand on the throttle and brake.

Apparently.......................

I like to drop the screen when I hit traffic or when filtering. A button close to hand would be handy. Its not advisable to adjust the screen at speed its a big strain on the mechanism
