Electrical power supply 1200GSA

There is an electrical socket with a plastic clip-on cover coming out next to the steering head, which I'm told is for the standard BMW sat nav supply. It has 3 wires feeding into it, and the socket itself is a slim rectangular "male" blade. Anyone able to confirm that it is the sat nav feed and if so which 2 of the 3 wires I can take a supply from?
