Does anyone know where to get a safe, easy to access, switched 12 volt to trigger additional electrical supply relay?
Switched means it follows ignition key on/off.
On old GS, I used to use one wire (green) at diagnostic connector. It doesn't work on GS WC. None of them is switched.

I have used the switched feed to the aux skt at the side of the dash. Easy enough to run a wire back under the tank panel to relay( my aux switched fuse box is under the seat).
Does have a little delay on switch off on ignition off, but no issues for me.

I used a switched feed from out of the rear of the little fuse box which is located under the front seat to the right hand side, just back from the front seat mounting.
Four red wires come out of the fused plug, I have a feeling that it was the red wire with the blue id thread. Anyway if you disconnect the plug this will show you the bike's two fuses, suggest that you use the low value fuse feed, you only need to splice into the cable no need to cut it in half. When you think that you have found the correct cable check it by removing the fuse from it's holder and the power will drop out, this test will ensure that you are on the 'fused' output and thus safe.

Hope this helps, my splice is all taped up now so I cannot see the actual wire that I used!
