I have just installed two of Les Wassalls HIDs. One was to replace a non-functioning 35w HID on the dipped.
Guess what ? the old HID was probably ok as the new dipped 50w HID does not work but the new main beam 50w HID does .
So it is a switch or a wire or a connection.
It is 20 years since I did any electrics detective work on a vehicle. I can take things apart and put them back together most of the time.
What multimeter thingymajob should I buy since I suspect my ancient old two pieces of wire joining a battery a torch bulb and two crocodile clips all soldered together may not be sophisticated enough to test switches.
BTW it should be cheap and easily sourced.
Thanks
BTW anyone want an old and probably working NN 35w HID kit for their 1150?
