Been internetless for a few days, so took a while to get back.
Turned out to be the battery after all! It tested ok with a voltmeter, would take a small load and power a bulb or two no problem, but when on the bike, it was having none of it. Very strange.

So remember folks, batterys are like women. Sometimes they'll tell you everythings fine, but its a lie.



And they're full of acid.
