End Float query

Hi guys,wonder if you could help me.Have just adjusted valves and checked
end float all within spec.All checked at tdc.Just by chance checked endfloat
when not at tdc and end float clearances tight.Have ridden thousands of miles like this.I thought once set the gap should remain constant whether tdc or not.
All help much appreciated.

The pressure on the rocker arm opening a valve will close the gap (at one end). Nothing to worry about.
