It's a bit of time away but when the time comes to hand my GSA back at the end of the 36month lease do I need to leave the panniers & top box on ?
They were ( free ) as part of the 2011 sales promotion but I'd rather keep them & sell to a fellow tosser ? :thumb

If they are on the finance document as listed identifiable stated items, then yes

If not, probably no

(i'm in the asset finance business)

I would have thought you need to return them. You wouldn't have been 'given' them if you didn't get the bike in the first place.

I'm at work just now so will check the docs when I get home,, Some dealers were offering £1000 of free goodies like suits & helmets etc, I'm sure after 3 years nobody would hand back these freebies :blagblah

If they were advertised as free then no, if they came with the bike as standard within the normal spec then yes.

Isn't the balloon payment likely to be less the private sale value of the bike. If so, I'd be tempted to buy it at the end of the PCP and sell it on; unless you're going to roll the balance over into another contract......:nenau

The balloon payment is around £6800 for a 3yr old fully specd GSA with 12000 miles on it but it's alot less hassle to hand it back than trying to sell it privately :comfort

Put it up for £7750 & I think you'd sell it instantly
