Enduro jacket / trousers etc - staying cool!!

Apologies - I know this is not the right thread, but getting very little response elsewhere ...
Have often pondered an alternative set-up to oufits like Rallye II kit, which is very warm and quite cumbersome, esp. if you are walking off the bike at a destination / stop etc.
I have been thinking of a protective mesh jacket, like Alpinestars Bionic / Acerbis Koerta, underneath a much lighter (and cheaper) Enduro style jacket, such as an Alpinestars Venture /Adventure - or even a Klim (Adventure Spec) if the budget could stretch to it. If heat were required, a light electric vest such as a "Warm and Safe" could be added.
Does anyone out there have thoughts on this idea, and also any experience of the kit itself. Also, any other suggestions re Enduro type jackets that DONT have armour fitted would be appreciated.

FWI i used a revit of track jacket last year in summer in morocco. It has loads of vents, removable armour it thats your thing but you can also take out the two side panels to the jacket which makes it even airier.. I found it great...

I've worn a Sinisalo enduro jacket over a mesh armour shirt as you describe, with a t-shirt, fleece and old jacket liner as required, depending on temperature. Took me comfortably from 5 degrees to 35 degrees, but was only shower proof.
Latest enduro jacket I have is an Acerbis one, which has more vents, but has yet to be tried on the road.

Problem with this one is that armour is not part of a mesh "jacket" that will keep everything in place - as does eg Alpinestars Bionic (£144) or Acerbis Koerta for example ... I tried on "Bionic" today and I am sold - it is the way to go - layering, as you would do if you were climbing : thin wick t shirt, armour, perhaps electriv vest or light fleece if required, and shell jacket eg. Alpinestars Venture, which you can take off / fold right out of the way when it gets warm ... nes pa!!
