Hi All,
My previous 2018 GSA had the red enduro dongle fixed to the underside of the front seat, so when plugged into the cable under the seat released additional functionality for the off road modes. Just wondered if the latest 1250 should also have this as mine ain't got one ? Not in the owners manual and don't want to assume it therefore does not have one from new.
Cheers

They don't have that now. Now you can go into the menus and chose which 4 options you want to chose from on the mode button. You can add in the 'pro' modes there. think they default to Eco, Rain, Road and Dynamic.

My 2019 1250 has one - never used it mind.

Maybe the later ones have done away with it?

Thanks Guys, from what I can find by asking around owners and dealers, it seems that Euro 5 bikes onwards don't have a dongle.

For the later bikes, definitely no plug required. The pro modes can be accessed and configured via the TFT settings. You can chose between 1 and 4 modes that can be displayed via the right hand switch cluster switch.

All 1250 TE's with the G style headlights will have (or should have) had one from new. The X type headlight models have done away with the the need for red dongle plug. Sometimes it comes in a bag with the handbook and sometimes clipped under the seat. I believe it's just a wire bridge that can be done with a paper clip.

Also wondering if a new 1250 GSA should come with any tools, even just a screwdriver or allen key to remove battery cover etc ? The rider seat underside has cut outs for something, guessing this is what they are for ?

Should come with a spanner and torx screwdriver under the seat.

I loved the under seat tool kit the R1100/1150Gs came with but then BMWs never break...LOL And yes you need the dongle on EU-4 1250GS to uncork Dynamic Pro !

The tools should be under the pillion seat.
