Engine Bars for 2009, 1200GS

Hi! I'm single handedly attempting to reverse the economic downturn and just treated myself to a brand spanking new 1200GS ...In order to preserve my investment , I'd like to fit engine bars..I've heard that some bend when you don't want them to bend ..Some advice about which ones to fit would be appreciated by a new member of the fraternity!

IMHO the balance is between them bending and giving a little, and not bending and breaking one of the mounting points off that they are attached to the egine casing with - this can be a MAJOR expense....I've currently got the OEM bars fitted to my GSA and the lower nearside bent when I went down off road.

Bent it back ok though
