Cant find any price list on the BMW Motorad website and its Saturday nite so dealers are closed. Does anyone know how much they want for genuine BMW F800GS crash/engine bars?

Hi DJ I dont think BMW do a crash bar, but plenty of others do Adventure - spec look good, I have Givie.

have a look on the boxer above TT or NN plenty other webb sites open 24, 7

also there is a section just for crash bars..... in this section.

Puma,

BMW do have their own crash bars for the F800 GS. Thing is they are silver and they were only half bars.

I went instead for the Adventure spec bars which look the part and offer much more protection than BMW's.

Yep i like the adventure spec higher bars on the F800GS Also :thumb2

The bash plate is silver only :blast thank god for local powder coaters :D :D

Bmw do engine bars, around the 200 pound mark if I remember! Check out the thread for more info! In my opinion theres better options for your money!

DJ I have adventure spec bought off here for £110 delivered , fantastic quality stainless bolts and go right up to your fairing / false tank. Previous owner had green laned on them so they had small scratches , but a bit of paint goes along way. Just this week a set of bars has gone through ebay for a F800

Might be worth posting something in the wanted section

Hope this helps

Steve

Thats why i was wondering how much they cost. Theres a set of BMW silver ones on ebay at the moment for £100, sounded fair no?

Not a bad price for beamer ones! Ive got givi ones on mine, bout 100 quid new, worth a look as I prefer them!

We both have the BMW ones, like them a lot. Not too obtrusive and good enought protection. As for the colour; Rattle can. I think she paid £220 for hers off the dealer, mine were on the bike when I got it.

Adv spec but beware... I'm 6' 5" and cannot fully tuck me knees against the bike with these bars. Not a massive deal mind.

ILMV,

Must be a close thing then as I'm 6'4 and my knees tuck in just behind the bars, so that I just rest my knee pads on them which I find really comfortable.

yep £220. Nearly fell over at the price, but I like the styling of them. Dropped the bike a few times now off road (vertically challenged!) and there's been no damage yet!
