Hi all
Bike was in for a 6k service, just oil and filter change, when went to collect the bike, the engine light came on, took it back to the workshop cleared light and said no faults.
Have only been on bike twice since and both times light has came back on after riding a short distance then stopping.
Iv checked the oil level and seems on the high side going by the manual and the oil window. Under warranty until May so will take it back to the dealer to see, anyone else had similar? The bike rides fine just weary of the light.
TIA

need to get the code read - an EML could be one of many things. If its orange it's usually a warning/advisory. Red is stop/bad warning.

The bike should tell you in messages what the fault is and from this helps determine the issue

Yes was a BMW dealership

Just says take it to specialist workshop, no code, taking it up this week
Does it say 'Engine Fault take to specialist workshop'??

If so its the flappy valve in the exhaust...you will likely require new headers (will be under warranty)

Yes that's it, I rung them earlier and the fella said that was on the record when was in for service, don't why didn't sort it then 🫣 cheers fella

My 2020 GSA failed at just over 3000 miles when it was 3 and 1/2 years old, no quibble replacement headers on the approved used warrantee. When the fault occurred, it would clear itself after a few days, then it would return from a few days or weeks later.
