Engine oil for lc

Hi i have always used castrol power 1 4t and now believe motul 300v 5w 40 ester core can be used is there any other people on here can recommend?

Perhaps you could read the handbook and use the recommended lubricant?

bmw recommend their own 5w40 which is Shell. Although apparently you can mix both ie to top up, according to the dealers
