Engine oil leaking

My oil level looks exactly like yours and looked the same after both the last dealer service.
Never had any problems .

Thank you guys for your answers and the pictures, you helped a lot. Your O ring looks like a flat seal rather than a traditional O ring, no?

It’s an O ring which normally stays in place in the cover when you take out the filler cap. If it isn’t there then oil will mist past the filler cap when the engine is running. Your oil level photograph looks standard to me.

Just use online parts fiche like MaxBMW, RealOEM etc, you get a pretty picture and they even give you the BMW part number you need.

Thank you all. It seems that this O-ring solved the issue. I'll remove some of the oil to get it to the right level according to the manual.
