Yesterday I was finally initiated into the world of green lanes. The standard engine protection plate on my 2004 1200 GS proved to be insufficient and mid way thru the day had to be removed, the ride report shows the detail

...as a newbie to green lanes, i won't be doing anything too severe so don't necessarily want to go OTT but only want to do this once, so would prefer a quality product and something that really does the job effectively.
My question is therefore, has anyone replaced the standard protection and can recommend either Wunderlich, Touratech or other as a preferred replacement??
