Engine protection advice please

Hi
Can someone please recommended which engine bars are best on the nippy site for a new 2017gs?
I am looking at the Motech (£149) or the Wunderlich engine bars (£174).

Motech will allow BMW service personnel to remove rocker covers without the need to remove bars first. BMW bars cost you probably £20-30 in labour every time bike goes in for a service.

£23 to £30 ?
Surely this is only when it is a service that requires valve clearance check and not every service?

Altrider get my vote. I tested them several times on my previous GS. Also allows cam covers to be removed in situ. More pricey, but you get what you pay for.

They saved plenty of scuffing etc when I fell over whilst backing out of garage last summer
Bars weren't scratched either, but mainly coz they landed on my foot

Not to hijack.....but.....is there set of bars which will allow for the retention of BNW OE cylinder head guards.?
