Engine Vibration

Running in my new GS and wondering about some engine vibration on the overrun between 5000 and 4000rpm.
Im feeling it mainly through the seat. Not having had a new boxer engine I'm wondering will it settle down as the engine beds in?
Is anyone else having the same thing? Done about 450 miles so far.

Just had my new engine fitted , 2013 to 2014 and have noticed a vibe in 4th at around 4000 revs. Only done 30 miles yet but out in the morning so will have a better idea after a short 200 miler

So that would be the prop shaft turning unloaded. Entirely normal IMHO.

Oh sorry, just realised mines an 1150, they are not meant to be similar in any way.

Get it straight back to the dealer if you're worried, I'm sure they will confirm 'they all do that'

Mine had vibes when new but is very much smoother now at 5,000 miles, give it time.

Ford 302 Small block bored and stroked to 5.7L.
420bhp 435ft/lb torque. Its a handfull.

Just had first service today. The vibration is a shed load worse now and is not only felt through the seat but also the foot pegs and bars and at lower revs.
Not happy.

I'm on my 4 th gs 1100 x 2 ( one blew a gearbox running in ) 2006 1200 that ate batteries but otherwise fab then now a 1200 lc TE THAT vibrates like a jackhammer from 4000 rpm
The drive shaft Wines like a teenager without a phone if the ride hight is set for pillion solo
Sloppy low rev transmission
Grumbling gearbox on overrun
Not good
BMW SAID it's the tyres lol

Yes there is a vibe through the seat on overrun. It pissed me off during my test ride. But with 2000 miles on my GSA I no longer notice it.
