Engine warning light and no start

Hi guys

Got on my bike this morning pressed the starter button and it jut started to click at me with no start the engine warning light (the one that in the manual means that the engine is in emergency mode) came on with the yellow warning triangle. Turned her off an left it a few min an tried again, and same happened again no start and just clicking at me with the warning light on.

Any ideas?

That's what I was thinking as soon as it happened but was then told by the dealers that its a different warning light... Fuck it ill put it on charge when I hey back from work an see in the morning

There is no warning light for a flat battery. The red "battery" symbol indicates that the battery is not charging, not that it is flat (although if it continues in the former state for a while, the latter will follow as sure as night follows day...). The 'click' when you press the starter is a good indicator of a flat battery (or knackered starter motor).
