I was out on the bike yesterday, and my revs started going up and down at idle.
Jumping between 1 and 2 thou rpm and actually cut out twice.
Any advice on what the problem could be and how to sort it, I do have a 911 tool if that's necessary.
Cheers in advance.

You can fire up the 911 and go into engine and look at Live data you can see what it is asking the stepper motors to do ("Steps" ) if one is vastly higher than the other it could be a faulty one

Air leaks

Water in Fuel

Have you made any changes lately

Battery terminals and grounds clean and secure

Apart from fitting a new battery a few weeks ago, I haven't done anything to it.

It just so happens that I purchased a TPS sensor amongst other items from a guy on here a few weeks back.

Swapped out the TPS and problem solved.
Got the bike booked in for a service with a local mechanic later this week, so I'll get him to set up the new TPS while he's at it.

Thanks for all the help guys.

When you fitted the battery did you relearn the throttle? if you disconnect the battery once reconnected you should turn the ignition on and turn the throttle from closed to fully open several times. That’s as stated in the Haynes manual.
