Error Message when installing USB drivers

I have trying to install the USB driver for my 2610, I am following the instructions as described. Everytime I click on "Install the software automatically (Recommended)" in the "Found New Hardware Wizard" window I am getting the following error message:
Run a DLL as an App.

I click on the don't send report button and the driver installation terminates. I have called Garmin and the guy told me to switch of my firewall. But it is still doing it. Anybody has had the same problem or knows a solution. Many thanks in advance.

Sorted. All I had to do was to select the other option (instead of the recommended one). Can't believe I have spent so much time looking for a solution, Garmin support was not that great on that occasion.
