Just noticed something a bit strange and wondered if anyone can tell me if it also happens on their bike.
If I'm in "Road" mode and "soft" , then decide to switch to Dynamic mode, the suspension automatically goes to the "hard" setting for the shocks. I'm (pretty) sure this didn't happen in the past, and to be honest, as I would very rarely use the "hard" setting, it's a bit of a pain.
Going back to road then seems to change the setting to "Normal"
Is there a default setting in each mode, or has mine decided to throw a bit of a "wobble"
Suspension doesn't seem as compliant in "Soft" as it was either, but that may be me getting paranoid.
Any thoughts ?
Cheers :augie

ESA Defaults...
Dynamic = Hard
Road = Normal
Rain = Soft
However you can override the 'default' to select the ride setting of your choice using the button, so if you are in Dynamic and hit a bumpy stretch of road you can leave it in Dynamic but click from the 'default hard' setting into either normal or soft, but the throttle response remains in dynamic.

What batman says. Plus. If you do not have the coding plug installed then the settings will revert to defaults when the ignition is switched off. If the coding plug is installed then your preferences are remembered.

Thanks guys, guess I've been riding with my eyes closed for the last 8 months and 9000 miles ! :rolleyes:

The coding plug is the one under the seat to access Enduro Pro etc ?

Well mine doesn,t reset. Just been to check and I had mine on Dynamic with ESA set to soft last week and just switched it on now and the settings are still the same. The Enduro Pro plug is still in the seat.:nenau

I think there may be more to this.
I'm convinced that mine didn't revert to "default" settings every time I altered riding mode .....

Well I've put the plug in and it's holding it's settings again now, but it seems a little strange.
I'm sure it used to hold the settings without the plug
Oh well :nenau

Has it been serviced recently, the latest flash ecu service update effects the suspension

Just wait until the suspension decides to go into PissTheRiderOff mode.... that's when the fun starts :rolleyes:

There is a manual. And it is written in English. But understanding it is another matter. Too many model variations and why in this day and age can they not produce a pdf manual which is specific to the model and spec. of each machine?

No, mine is written in French. I'm having the English one sent. Until then, can someone tell me where it plugs in?

And ...why is clipped to the seat and not plugged in somewhere useful if the only thing it does is tell something to remember settings? What else does it do?

I seem to remember when I first had mine if the coding plug was not plugged in it depended if you switched the engine off from the key or the kill switch for it to go to default . Put the code plug in and all will be fine.
