For a 6 week tour of the EU via France, Portugal and Spain, I am considering BeMoto travel assurance.
At 69 and with high blood pressure and high Cholesterol (below type 2) stated, it comes out at £162 which is a fair price if; the worst happened.
Most mainstream advertised companies steer clear of us.

Has anybody any good thoughts of them regarding making claims?

That's why at 69 I avoid having any tests done :)

There's a whole thread dedicated to this topic https://www.ukgser.com/community/th...-maybe-good-for-the-younger-ones-too….398387/

I updated it recently with my current annual policy for a lot less than your price from Bemoto. I have 3 conditions to declare.

Last year I went with Allclear, this year Able2travel. Both sold me the same policy from Allianz. It is an annual policy for £54 which includes about a third of the premium for the medical extension. I am 62 but they cover older people where some companies stop at 70.
