European Breakdown Cover

Adelaide insurance are giving me the best insurance quote by a long way and offer Irl & UK breakdown cover for an extra €45

Should I get away on a Euro trip, is there anyone (AA/RAC type company) offering breakdown cover for the whole of europe that I can take instead of the Adelaide cover?

I just got Euro/Uk/Ire/Homestart cover with NCI for £65. I think the website is rescuemycar.com
It's a good policy - I've had to use it in the past!

Dont know about cost but can highly recommend the bmw insurance. I just had a big off in greece(bike stayed lovely service very moving).

Whilst held up in the pindos mountains somewhere and having lots of time to check insurance policies, the only one who delivered was BMW.

Travel insurance not worth a ball of blue( emergency 24hrs medical assistance hotline...got an anwserphone)

Bike insurance talked to 4 different companies all aparently working on my behalf trying to get an assessor to inspect the bike before flying back(didn't happen had to leave the bike) took me about 5 minutes to confirm all my details over and over at international phone rates

BMW did everthing prefect, from picking the bike off the road and delivery to the nearest BMW garage 50 miles, hire cars, taxi's flights buses and even a courtesy call to see if I got home ok and forwarding an address for any expenses I wish to claim back(hotel etc)

the personal service was second to none, they always contacted me to save on calls, and I always got the same team who knew my name and the circumstances they all spoke the english language as well as greek which was a big help trying to translate with garages etc.

I will definatly use them again


P.S.There are some free tt goodies at the side of a road in greece free to the finder......watch this space for grid

Just paid Auntie Carol €394.50 for Comp insurance on the three bikes.

bmw insurance.

They won't insure more than one bike in Ireland so a no go unfortunately (plus probably underwritten by a different company here)

Will it drop more when you eventually reach 40

Mizz Carole was hitting near 2 grand for me.
Aon have stopped giving a feck and just don't even bother being helpful on the phone now.
Adeliade isn't far yer price for the 12ADV Fully comp with bonus protect and third party only on the DRZ (won't do theft on the yella yoke )
BM & Quinn are only one bike.. unless osmeone knows otherwise
