Ewan and Charlies 1200 Adv

I have been thinking about chopping my old 1150 in for a 1200.

I was put off by the early problems with the servo braking (a friend had so many problems with one of the early bikes he traded it in for a Ducati!) and the fact that (IMHO) the 1200 actually does not look as good as the 1150 with all that plastic around the tank.

I know that the 2007 bike has removed the servo brakes and on seeing the video clips from the start of the Long Way Down it would appear that they have a slightly different looking 1200 adv.

Is this is new 2007/8 version of the 1200 adv?

No wonder people struggle to get parts off them if it's all in the bin. Dam waste I say.

And colour co-ordinated the bikes nice

The servo 1200 and non-servo GSA are almost two completely different bikes in my experience.

Ah yes so I see.

The fairing unit - which fooled me into thinking it was some form of revised model - is £ 450 alone.
