any problem doing that ... im thinking ill do more like 900 ...

Just had mine done today 717 miles. I asked and Balerstons said - no problem.
Also the oild level had only gone down about 2 millimetres from the initial level in the sight glass.
No excessive oil consumption here!!!

I did 1,900 km before first service, highway miles. I just made sure oil levels were right and that was it. No issues, hiccups etc and now @ 26,000 km.

Ill be at least 900. Bristol Mottorad say theyve had them in with 1200miles, they said juts keep and eye on the oil level...so as usual!
If your concerned just ring your dealer to get the ok....

I'll second that. Just had mine done at 850 miles and - yes- I've needed to top oil up. I wish I'd measured it though. Will do from now on.
