I've just installed a new Scorpion exhaust on my gs
It's fits very well but I'm a bit concerned how close it is to the plate and indicator.
Its about an ich below the indicator and half inch from the plate.
will they melt and should I attempt to move the exhaust?

You seem to have the original catalyst installed, so the exhaust is gonna be pretty much cosmetic only.
It might be long enough, also, to maybe spare some heat from the plate.

Considering the low cost of a replacement plate... I'd wait before bending any metal bits.

You could get an aluminium plate instead of the plastic one. One less thing to worry about.

It’ll only melt if you ride a few hundred miles in one hit at a reasonable speed. Going to tesco or the local bikers cafe will be fine.

if you're not going for a better solution - at least buy a nasty secondhand indicator (melt that) and keep the good one for a rainy day
