So the story is I've got Vern's world beaters on my 1150 GSA, with the standard exhaust and "Y" piece.
When I bought the bike it came with a 450 mm diameter exhaust extension 2800 mm in length with a slight off 90 degrees bracket with a single hole 1000 mm up its length .

Question is how and where do I bolt it on ? I'm thinking I maybe missing a part.

Does anyone have a similar set up with a photo ideally ?

I want to spare my pannier rails/ indicator the blackening effect, and my panniers when I go to Europe soon.

Anyone ?

It sounds like the set up Vern did for my bike, so assuming a photo is worth a thousand words....

Thanks Baggers's that's exactly it, well almost.
The tube is cut flat so I was trying to assume a fit with a more skywards pointing.
I think it'll fit on that bracket but won't form a proper seating with the exhaust.

Still it will be a huge improvement and avoid most of the blackening on the rails and boxes.

Thanks very much for going to the trouble of a photo....:D

Cue "U2"....I've still not found what I'm looking for.....BUT.....here's another one that might be relevant......

Thanks Fanum....

I'm going to have a go with it today. Not sure if it was designed and cut for a remus or standard pipe. My by have the standard exhaust on. I can always get my mate to trim the angle slightly.

Offer it all up with everything loosened and you'll be pleasantly surprised how much wiggle room you have :thumb

I ended up (in that iteration anyway, I've changed back to cat and stubby now) using some old bracket left over from a previous project, but at one point I had a 10/11 MM ring spanner acting as a bracket :D
