exhaust question

Hello to you all, new to all this GS thing after years on a sportsbike
just wondering if it is possible / or if anyone has cored out the original end can on a 1200 GS?
I had a rsvr and instead of buying new pipes for it, it was quite easy to take the end caps off remove all the gubbings from the exhaust and re-fit it
Easy and cheap mod instead of buying new Akras ect ect for it
Possible on a GS or is wallet open and buy a slip on?

What he said You get a performance increase by getting rid if the CAT which is in the headers under the gearbox. Changing the end can or removing the guts will give you more noise but precious little else
