Exhaust question

Hi guys, I've just fitted a Y piece & remus to my GS & now my farther-in-law wants to do the same to his 1100 RS. The problem is that both down pipes connect to the cat on the off side of the bike, so a Y piece will be no good. The question is, does anyone make a cat replacement pipe for the RS? If so where can he buy one, & how much do they cost ?

If i remember right Remus do a system for the R1100RS/RT
Has their collector box though.(no cat in it) shame it resembles a chewed toffee but it sounds ok.
Also Lazer used to offer a straight through system complete with chip. Can't remember if its still available though. Give our parts men (Dave or Tony) a ring at the shop if your interested.(Rainbow M/C 01709 835917)

Discoloured exhaust on R1150GS 2002

I've noticed that since my dealer carried out a service, after using my bike my exhaust pipes are different colours. The left hand exhaust is the normal colour - eg blue at the top and then fades into the normal chrome colour. The right hand exhaust, however, is blue at the top but then fades into a light golden colour and not chrome. My bike is fitted with a Remus can and a Y piece which was fitted by the same dealer. Can anyone let me know if this is perfectly normal and has anyone else noticed this.

Strangely enough, I just noticed this today.
Right one blued to half way round the bend.
Left one a lovely golden colour.
Bike runs perfectly. Ticks over evenly.
Never looked at the plugs yet.
Y and remus.
