Hi all

Have been wondering about the exhaust valve on my 2010 twin cam GSA , is the valve supposed to click continuously well more like a the servo motor turning back and forth until the motor starts or is it supposed to just move to a set position when the ignition is switched on and stay there until bike starts.
Mine you put ignition on and it whirs away constantly until you hit the start button
Only seems to happen the first time I start it , the rest of the day it just clicks once when I turn ignition on then is silent.

Any ideas

sounds like it's stuck. it should just whirr and move into position when the key is turned.

Take the cover off Martin. Bet it's stuck solid. Will have a error in the diagnostics too.
Mines doing ok at the moment after heating it up to about 150C and trickling in graphited oil. Did that three times. Seems to be ok again.

Thanks for that , will have a look the weekend, I've got a gs-911 as well so I'll plug that in an see if there's any errors
