Exhaust vibration

F650 GS Twin, 2010, sounds like loose exhaust baffles when it is revved. Only done 6000mls and hard to believe the baffles are loose but any similar experience appreciated.

Check the flexible rubber mount under the engine. I have experienced this having metal to metal contact. A bit of fiddling with that and the exhaust hanger should fix it

I have read anything along these lines, have you checked all the nuts and bolts along the zorst system..Tosh

These bikes have quite a 'raspy' exhaust note. Are you sure it's not normal. Perhaps you could compare it with another before you rip it apart.

I have an Akrapovic the quite bit on the end has never been fitted, so it can not be that sometimes it appears more raspy than others (at start up - colder perhaps)
