Expand (add waypoints) not working...

Hi,
I have a 500km route made in MRA with only 16 waypoints.
I want to use "Expand" to add a number (25?) of additional waypoints to make the route less likely to be changed when moved to my Zumo XT.
However, when I click Page Menu, Toolkit, Expand and enter 25 in the window, then click OK, the "in progress" wheel appears briefly, then disappears and I find there are no extra waypoints added.
What am I doing wrong?
BTW, I have tested the "Expand" function of two other routes and it works, but not on this one.....

What format did you create it in? OSM, Tom Tom or Garmin?

Can I suggest that you copy it and then convert it into another format and see what happens then using the expand tool? At least you will know it's the format causing the issue, potentially. I'd also log out and in again! And try at a later time.

Can you share the route with us, please. It is often the quickest way to help solve problems.

Use the embed feature to embed the route into this thread or simply share the link.

PS When and if the additional shaping points are added to the troublesome route, take a moment to ensure they are each on the road, not off to the side. The software sometimes misses. Similarly, check that it hasn’t plonked one very close to a roundabout exit or road junction.
