Hi all,

So in my quest for a more comfortable bike (R1150GSA) I've fitted "up and back" handle bar risers.

The front brake line (bike used to have ABS but now doesn't) is a little tight when on full left lock. It doesn't worry me terribly, but I'd like to resolve it.

The bike already has stainless lines on it, so I'd like to get an extended front line to go from the lever to the little contraption under the tank (seems to be 2 brake unions with a bit of copper pipe linking them, i'm guessing in place of the ABS unit).

Are there any suppliers out there that can supply me with such a pipe off the shelf?? I've tried google but found nothing of use in the UK.

Thanks!

Steve

Just measure length you need and ask any brake line supplier to make one , like hell or Goodrich or any others, it won't cost much more, around £25 I guess

You can get Venhill to make a line up for you. Go to their online site and you can build it exactly how you want it including colours etc. In my experiance they only take a few days from order to delivery.

+1 for Venhill.I went to their premises in Dorking a few weeks back and they made what I needed there and then in 15 minutes!

If the line takes the standard run and is infront of the top yoke move it and run it down behind the yoke, simple

I have Venhill front and rear made to fit on the spot, can't go wrong. :thumb2

I have 50mm Roxrisers fitted and when I changed to SS lines I just asked Motorworks to get me a 60mm longer front pipe from Goodrich. I don't think it cost anymore and was with me inside a week from placing the order.
