Hello chaps

After fitting a set of risers I'm looking at needing a new front hose as it's a wee bit too tight.

Can anyone recommend a replacement and can I have it fitted anywhere, generally I do all my own work but I don't fancy playing with the ABS, i'm in suffolk during the day but I'm Norfolk at weekends.

Regards

Andi

Shouldn't be necassary to source a new brake pipe.......
Drop the left hand fork leg from the top clamp and re-route the brake pipe behind the fork leg instead of in front, you may need to snip the odd cable tie and replace when the pipe has been re-routed, tighten up the top clamp and job's a carrot, the re-routed pipe may chafe on the top yoke ever so slightly on full right lock, I cut a short length of reinforced tubing along it's length and cabled tied it in place over the pipe to minimize the effects.

its usually the cable ties that cause the problem, snip them all and replace omitting the pipe problem sorted.:D

Am I missing something? My front brake is on the right hand side of the bike

Yup mine too, the clutch hose is a little tight on the left and I will be dropping the leg to route it round, the rh front brake hose will I think need extending to stop me worrying about damaging the hose, I don't care how well the bike goes I'd still like to stop when needed!

:)

I've got Rox Riser on mine. The hoses are fine but the throttle cable is a bit tight on full lock. I will need to strip to the RHS bar to properly sort it out. Why do they loop the cable around the bars. It rubs in the middle and looks naff. :(
