As my bike was coming up to two years old (& a "keeper") decided to take out extended waranty after being told by a member of dealership staff that "extended waranty gives same level of cover as new bike except for corrosion, & shocks after 30K miles"
Paid me money & got the documentation thro' from BVM. Before filing said item away decided to have a quick read - seems to EXCLUDE virtually ALL cycle parts inc. wheels, hubs,etc..etc........ & even drive shaft. Now you could make your money back with just one failure but it seems to me that there's one hell of a lot of exclusions & I think I'd have taken a gamble & kept the cash in me pocket if I'd known that it was nowhere near like the new bike waranty
Anyone had problems getting parts replaced that did not fail, in their opinion due to "fair wear & tear" if so what?
Now whether the conditions have changed or the member of staff I spoke to was simply ill informed I don't know, as of a general I can't speak too highly of said dealer.
