Sometime ago I heard mention of a bluetooth and associated app for connection to ezCAN under development.
Did this gain traction?
Thanks

Hi Ticfrd

It is gaining traction, but it's been a challenging process to put it lightly. We've made some progress in that we're aiming to have it out this year or early next, but I can't really give any timeline at this point in time.

Kind regards

It’s needed
No wifi in garage so lugging a laptop out there is not helping
Doesn’t feel as cutting edge riding the bike into the kitchen to connect it to your server via a borrowed laptop!

Would you not use your mobile phone as a wi-fi hotspot and then you have full internet connectivity?

We do appreciate the need for this, personally, with the amount of testing we do in house and needing to drag a laptop down to our garage with the house bikes, I'm probably the most vocal for the need for an app :-) As I mentioned, we're working on it, but I don't have a time line just yet. The hurdles that came around were pretty much all the covid repercussions, but that details are pretty redundant to what I believe everyone experienced/are experiencing still.

As mentioned by Hatcho, that is one workaround to get internet connection in areas where your WiFi doesn't reach.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards

Hi again
this is my periodic check back to see if there's been progress on mobile app connectivity for ezcan
Thanks

That would be a huge benefit and I'm pretty sure I said the same thing on another thread.
